Insurance Coverage
Dental Insurance
ARA offers a dental plan for employees (at their own expense) who work 20 or
more hours per week. For those employees who elect to join the plan, premiums
are deducted from the employee's paycheck on a pre-tax bi-weekly basis. This
coverage will become effective the 1st day of the month following 90 days from
the employee's start date.
Retirement Plan
ARA offers a 401(k) Retirement Plan sponsored by T. Rowe Price. Full-time
or part-time regular ARA employees, who have reached the age of 21 and have
completed a three month period of employment during which 500 hours was worked,
are eligible to participate in the 401(k) retirement plan. The employees have
the option of making a contribution (salary deferral) of up to 15% of their
gross pay (within IRS guidelines). After one year of service, ARA matches up to
3% at 233% of the employee's gross pay.
